Vantage Point Assists in the Tech for Teens Program

At Vantage Point, we thrive on helping the communities in which we live and work. That’s why we have assisted in the “Tech for Teens” program the last few years. The “Tech for Teens” program is a community outreach initiative through the United Way of the Lower Eastern Shore to provide computer technology to the area’s youth, in order to increase their potential to succeed in education. Computer hardware is donated by Perdue Farms, Inc. and deployment services are provided by Vantage Point Solutions Group.

“Thanks so very much for your help with the Tech for Teens laptops. The students (and their families) were very excited!,” says Pam Gregory, Community Impact Manager at United Way of the Lower Eastern Shore.

Tech for Teens Program

Vantage Point wanted to give special kudos to two technicians who took the lead on this project this year and worked through a number of adversities to get the laptops configured and delivered. A big THANK YOU to Kirk Rothgeb, Director of Client Care, and Sean Faist, Technician, for taking pride in the “Tech for Teens” program and providing stellar IT-related support to this program.

Also this year, Vantage Point would like to make an exclusive shout-out to Webroot, an anti-virus software provider, for donating a 1 year subscription to SecureAnywhere for each student. Thanks Webroot!
