SALISBURY, MD - Vantage Point Solutions Group, the I.T., web development and marketing company, based in Salisbury, MD, recently opened a new location in Downtown Annapolis.

Vantage Point Solutions Group was founded in 2007 as the result of a merger between Beacon Technologies (est. 1992) and TechSolutions (est. 1999). This merger combined the strengths of Beacon's web and application development team with the expertise of TechSolutions' IT services staff, thus creating a single full service technology company with a robust and fully developed list of competencies.

After retaining a number of clients in the Annapolis / Baltimore corridor, the need for an additional physical presence was identified. On October 1, 2009 Vantage Point officially opened their Downtown Annapolis location. Doug Church, one of the founders of the company, has relocated to Annapolis to establish the business presence and handle local staffing.

Vantage Point's business philosophy is to work with small to mid size businesses in a partnership capacity, not simply a "techie." Their consultative approach to technology use is what sets them apart from the other IT companies who often simply look for a sale versus a long term relationship. "We are excited about the opportunity deliver our expertise to a new market and assist our clients in reaching new successes in their business through the effective use of technology," says Dana Seiler, one of the company's founders.

The social awareness and responsibility values that Vantage Point holds will extend into the new communities it has begun to serve. "I see one of my key responsibilities in heading up this [Annapolis] office is to entrench myself in the community and help out where my contributions will be most beneficial. I'm looking forward to meeting new people and truly experiencing a new community," says Church
