Phishing Scam Alert (CryptoLocker Virus)

CryptoLocker Virus in Google Docs & Dropbox

Reports have surfaced recently about a new virus coming in as a “fax” email containing links to Google Docs or Dropbox in a .ZIP file. Some emails may also have a .ZIP attachment.

Please do NOT open these emails or the zip files as they are contain a virus.

If you accidentally opened something that seems suspicious or believe you may have been infected, please reach out to us immediately. The CryptoLocker virus takes quite a while to encrypt files so it may not be obvious that you have actually been infected. Below is an example of a recent email containing a link to an infected file.
